Music has always been more than background noise for us – it’s the pulse that keeps us going, the rhythm that shapes how we work, and the constant that inspires us to see things differently.

Between us, we’ve built collections that reflect both curiosity and obsession: Chris with 700+ CDs and a growing record stack of 150, Graham with a library of 700+ CDs and over 350 records. Every disc, sleeve, and crate tells its own story.

Our tastes wander – from classic influences to new discoveries – but if there’s one genre we gravitate towards, it’s electronica. The textures, the layers, the endless capacity for reinvention: it’s the sound that connects us most deeply to design and to the world around us.

This page doesn’t follow a brief or serve a client. It’s simply a space to share the music that fuels us, shapes us, and keeps us connected. Where it goes from here, we’ll see – but like any good record, it deserves to be played loud and often.

chris’s studio playlist

This playlist is a snapshot of the sounds that move Chris – a blend of shimmering disco, Balearic textures, deep house journeys and timeless electronic synth lines. From the euphoric lift of Pryda’s The Future to the soulful warmth of Suzy Q’s Tonight, the hypnotic elegance of Don Carlos, and the cosmic touch of Lazywax, it’s music that keeps him inspired in and out of the studio.

At the core is his obsession with sonic detail and electronic synths – layers and atmospheres that shape emotion as much as rhythm. Influences also come from the DJs he loves to see live, especially DJ Harvey, whose eclectic sets continue to inspire.

For Chris, this isn’t background – it’s fuel, connection, and a reminder that creativity, like music, works best when it flows without boundaries.

graham’s studio playlist

Syncopated keys, mellow funk, and bongo rhythms meet deep house and disco grooves in a selection made for easy days, golden hour vibes, and late-night dancefloor energy. From shimmering disco edits to hypnotic modern house, Disco Haus is a journey through melodic layers and cosmic textures.

At its heart is a love of groove, detail, and atmosphere – music that moves as much emotionally as it does physically, blending warmth, rhythm, and melodic sophistication.

Disco Haus is Graham’s mix of tunes that make the day better, whether it’s golden hour, a cold evening, or somewhere in between.

going a little deeper: cliché

If playlists are a snapshot of what’s on rotation, our mixes are the next step – an hour or so of grooves stitched together inside the walls of collaborate. They’re not serious DJ sets (we’re not pretending to be DJs), but a passion project: cutting tracks we love, flowing between sounds that have inspired us, and keeping the blood moving while we work.

Expect blends of the artists and scenes we’ve been drawn to – from the DJs we’ve seen live, to records that still shape how we think and create. Sometimes the selections may feel a little cliché to the aficionados, but that’s part of the fun: celebrating the obvious as much as the obscure.

It’s about energy, inspiration, and giving ourselves – and anyone who listens – a soundtrack to get lost in.
