We recently partnered with JWA Architectural Design to produce a series of verified viewpoint images supporting a planning submission for a proposed hotel located at the corner of Chichester Street and Upper Arthur Street, Belfast BT1. The imagery was required to show how the building would sit within its urban context and to assist the client in communicating the proposal clearly to Planning.
Working across three agreed viewpoints, we captured onsite photography using 35mm lifelike lens shots, ensuring each viewpoint matched the exact eye-level perspective required for verified work. The surrounding city blocks were modelled with simplified massing to reflect neighbouring buildings accurately, before integrating the fully modelled proposal into each scene.
The visuals also reflect Belfast City Council’s planned adjustments to Upper Arthur Street, the proposed closure to vehicular traffic and introduction of a new cycle lane and pedestrian zone in front of the site, giving planners a realistic view of the future streetscape.
Developed alongside JWA’s architectural design intent, these verified images formed a key component of the planning submission, providing a clear, credible and contextually accurate representation of the proposed development.
